How is my insurance billed?
GeneX will bill your current insurance plan once your test has been reported to your doctor.
Once your current insurance plan has received and processed your claim, you will receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing your insurance coverage. This is not a bill.
GeneX is in network with many insurance carriers and if they deem a portion of the bill is patient responsibility.
You will receive a bill once the claim is fully processed. While we are in network with most major carriers, you may also receive a check directly from your insurance. If the explanation of benefits shows GeneX as the service provider, please endorse the back of the check and mail it to:
